With Singapore’s focus on 30 by 30, nation-wide support for local produce by both F&B businesses and end consumers is more crucial than ever before. In a bid to raise awareness of local produce in Singapore, Backyard Productions proudly presents CultivATE – a 5 episode docu-series produced together with filmmaker, Eileen Chong.
The series takes viewers on a journey with Nichol Ng, CEO of X-Inc Group, as she sets out on a mission to debunk the conventional mindsets about locally produced vegetables and fish. Covering a variety of topics from nutrition, sustainability, produce variety, the episodes also spotlight the struggles that Singapore’s next-gen agritech farmers face in order to change the food landscape of Singapore.
