Its retail brand, ‘Pure4u’, targets mainly organic and pro-organic consumer audiences who desire healthy food and have strong sense of environmental lifestyle and sustainable farming. Currently, it has 4 main and sellable crops, namely Curly Kale, Holland Crunchy Lettuce, Crystalline Iceplant, and Japanese Komatsuna.
Vertical Farming is the New Technology
Hydro Urban is a high-tech indoor farm where crops are grown in a controlled vertical-farm. This way, its vegetables are able to grow and develop in the most optimal conditions without exposure to pollution or unpredictable weather conditions.
At Hydro Urban’s farm, not only is water and energy more efficiently utilized, it also produces 30 to 50 times more produce in its 3500 square feet farm compared to traditional farms.
